Productomschrijving
De K2 Excavator, genoemd naar het beoogde gebruik, is gespecialiseerd in het graven van diepe geulen op trimmers en het verplaatsen van poeder na een stormcyclus.
Gebouwd rond een bredere omtrek met een dual-radius sidecut, is de Excavator unisex in benadering en is geschikt voor gevorderde rijders, carvende trimmers en drijvend in poeder. Door het bredere profiel van de Excavator kunnen rijders ongeveer 5 cm kleiner worden dan hun gebruikelijke lengte zonder dat dit ten koste gaat van de prestaties. Deze extra breedte en 20 mm tapsheid komt ten goede aan rijders met grotere voeten, waardoor de teenweerstand bij diepe carves en lange traverses wordt verminderd.
Binnenin gebruiken we onze soepel buigende S1 Core om hem responsief en vochtig onder de voeten te houden. Ten slotte vullen we het met ons ICG 10 Biax Glass met tip-to-tail carbon stringers. Met deze technologie kunnen we het snowboard torsie ontspannen houden voor een gemakkelijke bochtinitiatie, maar het helpt om snap over de gehele lengte van het board toe te voegen. We hebben ook onze pre-cambered Carbon Power Forks in de staart toegevoegd om een ??energieboost in en uit bochten en die spontane "Slow Sign" ollies mogelijk te maken. Deze technologie is ingeklemd tussen een met was doordrenkte gesinterde 4001-basis, wasbare en uiterst duurzame P-Tex-zijwanden en een sneeuwafstotend SnoPhobic-bovenblad.

A K2 exclusive. By transitioning from a P-Tex sidewall into a capped construction in the tip and tail of our snowboards, we can reduce waste while giving our snowboards better energy transfer and making them more durable than our competitors. - WAX INFUSED SINTERED 4001 BASE:
